Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about Pathwise Universities for students and partners.
What is Pathwise Universities?
Pathwise is a discovery platform that helps students find bachelor, master, and doctorate programs worldwide. It is an initiative involving ICARUS, GHU, Thrive Thrace, Apogee Information Systems, and 28 Digital.
What is guided match vs search?
Guided match asks a few questions (level, subject, study mode, location) and ranks programs that fit your answers. Search lets you type keywords and browse results directly. You can use either — or both.
Is Pathwise neutral? What about paid placements?
Matching is based on your preferences and the catalog. Universities may buy sponsored banners or featured placements for visibility; those are labeled. Sponsored visibility does not invent false match scores.
What is the Pathwise mentor?
The mentor form lets you ask an educational guidance question. Mentorship is offered as a Pathwise service and may be handled by Pathwise partners or qualified collaborators. It is advisory only and does not guarantee admission.
How do university partners appear?
Partner universities can request an account, purchase packages, and place banners or featured listings according to their subscription. Partner tools and pricing are on the For universities page.
Do I need an account? What about privacy?
You can search without logging in. An account lets you save a shortlist, keep search history, and see guided matches. We use cookies for preferences and accessibility; see the Terms for privacy details.
